Cancellation Policy

At Thomas Creek Woodworks, we take pride in providing exceptional craftsmanship and personalized service to our valued customers. We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, leading to the need for cancellation or changes to an order or service. To ensure transparency and clarity, we have developed the following cancellation policy: 
 
Changes or Additions to an Order: If you wish to make changes or additions to an existing order, we kindly request that you enter them as a separate order. This will allow us to efficiently process and track any modifications while ensuring accurate documentation. 
 
Canceling an Order: To ensure fairness and cover the amount of work already invested, we have developed a refund structure based on the stage the order is at. Please review the following stages and associated refund percentages carefully: 
1. Order Entry and Verification: If you decide to cancel the order after it has been entered and verified but before any production work has begun, a refund of 75% of the total price will be issued. This allows us to compensate for administrative and preparatory work that has been completed. 
2. Order in Production (Millwork Not Completed): Should you need to cancel the order while it is in production but before the millwork has been completed, a refund of 50% of the total price will be provided. This accounts for the materials and labor already invested in the production process. 
3. Order in Production and Being Built: If the order is in the advanced stage of production and actively being built, cancellation will result in a refund of 0% of the total price. At this point, substantial resources and labor have been allocated to fulfill the order, making a full refund unfeasible. 
 
We have established these refund percentages to ensure fairness both to our customers and our craftsmen who put considerable effort into every project. Please note that any cancellation requests must be communicated to our customer service team via phone or email. They will guide you through the cancellation process, address any concerns, and provide further information on the refund procedure. Please remember that this cancellation policy is subject to change, and any updates will be communicated through our website or other official channels. We encourage you to review this policy periodically to stay informed. Shipping Damage Claims & Incorrect Or Defective Orders

It is essential to carefully check your order for accuracy, defects, and any potential shipping damage right away. Claims need to be reported within 24 hours of delivery and must include photos. 
 

Incorrect or Defective Orders (not caused by shipping) Please report them with accompanying photos within 24 hours of delivery.

Shipping Damage

Upon receiving a delivery, please examine for any shipping damage before signing the waybill. If you notice any damage, inform the driver and request a claim inspection from the shipping company. If you suspect damage, you can mark the waybill as “DAMAGED” so the driver can proceed without waiting for your inspection. 

Should you discover damage after unpacking, retain the original packaging, and your waybill copy, and get in touch with Thomas Creek Woodworks Support within 24 hours. When reporting the claim, ensure you have the order number, waybill, pictures of the packaging, images of the damaged product, and other pertinent details available for a smooth and efficient claims process. Claims submitted without photos of packaging can not be accepted. Thomas Creek Woodworks will communicate with the shipping company to assess claim eligibility. Your cooperation in providing timely and accurate information for a prompt claim resolution is greatly appreciated. 

Our product warranty is 1 year from the date of shipment.  
 
Our finish warranty is valid for 1 year from the date of shipment and includes peeling, cracking, or blistering. Since many species may darken with age and the finish color can change over time, we are not responsible for changes in the appearance of the product over time.
